English Patterns Produced in Pink
Although the English designs on this list probably were made in a variety of other colors, without exception each one was produced in pink. Essentially, this lengthy list is the world’s composite collection of British transfer-printed designs in pink. Unquestionably, English Pink is a major genre in the transferware community, with a following that rivals Old Blue.
If you have a piece of English pink in a pattern that is not listed here, please contact us and we will add the name to our growing collection. This list reflects the patterns Margie Williams has either seen − online, in an antiques shop, in another collection or recorded in hobby literature − or are part of her collection.
Notes about the list: Pattern names, actual or collector-assigned, appear in italics.
“AM” in a pattern name indicates Aesthetic Movement ware.
When a second (or third, etc.) firm is known to have produced a particular pattern in pink, the other maker or makers are included.
Approximate registration or manufacturing dates are included when available. Other colors in which the pattern was produced are included if known.
ALL CAPITAL LETTERS indicates a series. *An asterisk indicates that all views in the series were potted in pink.
